Colette is doing great, Mom is doing great and Dad is doing great! We are head over heels in love with this little girl and I swear she gets prettier every day. She is always getting more alert, more playful and stronger. She can hold her head up for short periods of time and sit up with support. She smiles and makes small sounds that we choose to call giggles. She makes eye contact and follows you as you move. Colette has been a good sleeper as far as newborns go and every now and then we get a "full night" of sleep, although it always ends much earlier in the morning than I prefer to get up.
We celebrated Veteran's Day
You may know that my mom was just here for a visit before Thanksgiving. It was wonderful to have her here and I think she enjoyed herself too.
We had a nice Thanksgiving here at our house. Mike and his girlfriend Lynn, Joey, Helen and Derek came over for dinner. Colette had an excellent day because I don't think she was put down for more than 15 minutes while everyone was over. What made our Thanksgiving so unique is that you could only arrive my snow machine or 4-wheeler thanks to the foot of snow that arrived overnight. Thanksgiving day football - this is a Packers family
There's certainly a lot more to share but Colette is hungry and my brain is pretty scattered. Hope the holiday season is off to a good start for you all!
