Sunny Days, Sweepin' the Clouds Away

When it rains, it pours. And when the sun is out in Petersburg it is Glorious!! Today's mockjito totally kicked yesterday's mockjito's ass. This one included some fresh rhubarb and was enjoyed on the porch in the sun.

It also seems that I like to post in pairs. Today not only did we have a chance to get some fun photos outside but I have to give some props to Nick, he totally wins Ama-za-zing Husband of the day award. During the day, I casually sent him a text saying that "doesn't salmon sound good for dinner tonight?" Now saying it the way I did implied that I got some salmon so he got his hopes up. I of course was just planting the seed even though at the time he thought I was very mean. Well what happens after work? My man comes home with salmon and scallops for dinner. AND a plan on how to cook them. Marinate. Grill. Devour.  A++

Now that mom and baby are both very happy, (baby showed her appreciation with a series of kicks and squirms) the sun is still out so it's photo shoot time. Yet again more props to Nick because he was really a very good sport about this and took piles of pics to choose from.

I love our view. Behind me you're seeing the Wrangell Narrows and Kupreanof Island. Our "lawn" does consist mostly of clover and the bees were busy doing their job.

I love the way the rays of sun appear in this one. Mostly I just love that the sun was out to create these rays.
